Blue moons

Today we did some fingerpainting. It was a lot of fun!

Though the bottle said “washable,” I’ve learned not to be such a sucker for “washable” art supplies, so I had the girls take off their shirts before they started to paint.

Naturally, they started to paint their arms and faces. That was to be expected, I think. :)

Then the phone rang, and I went to the kitchen to answer it. I was out of the room for about two minutes, but when I came back, they were completely sans clothing and covered in paint from head to toe!! :) They had even painted their little bottoms. (I wish I could post it because it just looked so funny!)

When I asked them why they had painted their bums, my oldest daughter said, “So that we could be modest when we took off our clothes!!”

The baby doesn’t know what to think about her sisters. :)
