Bending

The past month has been glorious…I have made more decisions about myself and my life than I think I have ever made.  It’s been a time of choosing for sure what I really, truly want, regardless of anything else.

I’ve had so many projects and so many things going on that there has not been one moment to rest.

Finally, those are done (Yoga for Pregnancy is going to be re-released soon…stay tuned!) and there is only one thing left to come.

At times, I feel frightened of what I know is coming…the pain and the anguish that comes with bringing a new life into the world.

But mostly, I feel joy.  I feel so utterly blessed to be approaching it again.

You are the bows from which your children
as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends you with His might
that His arrows may go swift and far.

Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,
so He loves also the bow that is stable.

-Kahlil Gibran

Up next: Yoga for Congo Women.  I’m finally ready to talk about it.  It’s taken me a long time this time.  :)
