“This grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls.”

-John Muir

Our family was alone on Saturday as we watched Old Faithful roar from our own little place.  The wind was blowing so hard that the water and mist were blowing far beyond their place.  Our oldest ran down the path, so that she could be caught in the mist and (cooled) steam of the geyser.  She ran back, at once chilled and thrilled.  Matt told her she’d been “blessed” by Old Faithful.  Those moments remind me that there is a far higher power in charge of it all, and we are blessed to be part of it.
