Pennies from Heaven

The past year has been so full of challenges and blessings that it’s been hard to write much about it.  It’s all been so personal.

We’ll seem to come to a bright spot, when another, bigger challenge is thrown in the way.  That’s the way of life.

I am coming to a deeper understanding each day that faith is a decision, much more so than a feeling.

And somehow, there is always a sweeter blessing up ahead, and we were being guided all the time.  We just didn’t know it yet.

Recently, we had a moment of perfection and peace.  And, as life does, new challenges have thrown themselves in the way yet again.

But this time, I’m not going to let this feeling go…I know “pennies from heaven” are in store.  Somehow it will all work out, and it will be wonderful.  It’s amazing what peace is coming today with choosing faith.

Every time it rains, it rains pennies from heaven
Don’t you know each cloud contains pennies from heaven?

You’ll find your fortune fallin’ all over town
Be sure that your umbrella is upside down

Trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers
If you want the things you love, you must have showers

So when you hear it thunder, don’t run under a tree
There’ll be pennies from heaven for you and me

I always love your thoughts. What a great song. Are these pictures from Breckenridge(sp?). So pretty!

I also love your posts and pictures, gorgeous! I love that song, I heard it on Igor and I fell in love :). I will keep you in my prayers and send good thoughts your way! <3

I'm learning that when you go through a trial, you come out a stronger and better person. It was probably really rough, and at the time you have complained and wondered why you were put through it, but when it's all over, you realize you could handle it because God made you stronger and you grew because of it. <3 It's a hard lesson to learn, and I seem to relearn it every time, but it's a good lesson to learn. :)

    Love you!

I am so sorry to hear that you and your family have had a rough year. These are times that I wish we lived closer so that we can support and lift each other up. I miss our visits!

I love how you turn rough times into lessons. I need to do that more. Thanks for being a great example!
